Your Journey to Wholeness Begins Here.
QBut let’s give it some thought for a second.
Last week, I watched a video. A man boldly said, “I can’t date a broke woman.”
Apple currently sells only one MacBook Air size. The laptop comes in a 13-inch version that matches the pre-2021 13-inch MacBook Pro size. Previously, Apple sold an 11-inch MacBook Air, but the company discontinued that model in 2017.

At first, it sounded harsh.

But then I listened deeper.
He wasn’t speaking from arrogance.
He was speaking from experience.

From a place of protecting what he had spent years building.
He knew the cost of misalignment.
He wasn’t willing to gamble his empire on the hope that love alone would carry the weight.

Because when you’ve bled for your vision,
You learn to protect it.
And it got me thinking

How many men sabotage themselves financially in the name of love?
💸 Loans for weddings.
💸 A car she wanted.
💸 A vacation to prove he’s “a provider.”
💸 Bills he can’t afford because “that’s what a real man does.”

Until he’s deep in debt.
Alone. Ashamed.
And silently drowning in the mess he created to be loved.

But here’s what we don’t say enough:

You can be generous without losing yourself.
You can love without destroying what you’ve built.
You can say no and still be a good man.

Self-mastery means knowing where your limits are
And refusing to cross them for validation.
So before you go broke trying to prove your worth,

Ask yourself:
Is this love helping me grow?
Or am I paying for something that should’ve been mutual from the start?

It’s not selfish to protect your peace.
