QLet’s face it, growing alone is hard.
You can be full of big dreams, but when the days get tough,
It helps to have someone beside you saying, “Don’t stop. You’ve got this.”
Today, I want to celebrate the special people who’ve;
◾ walked with me,
◾ cheered me on,
◾ and gently pushed me when I needed it most.
They’ve helped me become more consistent, more grounded, and more me.
Thanks to LinkedIn,
I’ve found not just connections, but coaches, mentors, and friends who believe in my purpose and in my mission to support women on their journey.
These are reflections from those who’ve impacted my journey of purpose and progress.
1. Isaac Ssekisambu
- Showed me the power of intentional visibility.
- Now, I no longer post for attention.
- I post to create impact, one woman, one story at a time.
I can never forget his words at the start, "Grace, drop the fluff."
2. Ms. Muthoni Njoroge
- Taught me that my brand isn’t just what I say, it's what people remember when I’m not speaking.
- Today, when I enter rooms, I carry my message with clarity and confidence.
I don’t hope to be noticed > I’m prepared to be remembered.
3. Alice, The Conscious Life Coach
- Helped me break free from shrinking.
- Before, I’d downplay my achievements.
- Now, I speak with pride, not for applause, but to permit the next woman who’s hiding her light.
4. Jane Njogu
- Gave me tools to confront my inner critic. (She calls them our inner monsters)
- Her voice echoes when I journal, when I pause, and write my story.
- She has empowered me to lead from a healed place instead of a hurt one.
5. Anna Ngwiri
- Reminded me that leadership starts at home.
- Now, I lead with presence, whether I’m closing a deal, hugging my child, or listening to a client.
I don’t chase balance > I build harmony.
What this has meant for me…
✔️ It’s more than words.
✔️ It’s how I show up, even when no one is clapping.
✔️ It’s how I’ve learned to listen to my inner voice, not just the loudest noise in the room.
✔️ It’s why I now create space for women to speak up, not just fit in.
These people helped shape the leader I’m becoming, not the one with titles, but the one with heart, clarity, and courage.
To Isaac, Ms. Muthoni, Alice, Jane, and Anna
♥️ You didn’t just teach me. You changed me.
This post is my way of saying thank you. 🙏🏽
